Rebecca Kamil
Rebecca Kamil is a board-certified chaplain and rabbi who has worked in healthcare for over 10 years. Rebecca has experience in hospice, hospitals, and long term care settings, as well as in tele-health providing 1:1 coaching for family caregivers. Rebecca worked for a national organization that provided coaching to caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia before transitioning to private practice.

Rebecca understands the complexities of caregiving, how each day can feel like a challenge and how overwhelming this journey can be. Rebecca can guide people through the process and create space for them to vent, share, ask questions and simply be heard. ​

Rebecca was ordained from Hebrew Union College in 2016, and did her chaplaincy residency at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. Rebecca received board certification as a chaplain from Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains in 2019, and is currently the Vice President on the executive board. Rebecca also received a certificate in Gerontology and Palliative Care from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work in 2023.

Rebecca has experience in navigating caregivers through all stages of the journey, from initial diagnosis to end of life. Rebecca provides individualized, compassionate and whole person care, ensuring that people feel heard and supported as they manage caregiving responsibilities. Rebecca has experience in advance care planning and is able to help people navigate medical decision making and can also do resource navigation.
Rebecca lives in Minneapolis, MN with her husband, her two kids and her dog.
